PICK UP
Select the pick up option if you want to collect the goods from Clayton Victoria. You will be notified by email or by phone that your order is ready for collection. Pickup is by appointment only.
NOTE:
*HEAVY LOAD
You will be collecting heavy items. 40sqm of brick facings can weigh as much as 1 tonne. Please always check your load capacity(e.g. ute trays, or trailers) before collection.
*PALLET LOAD
Large orders will be placed on a pallet (1.2m square) or a half pallet and loaded onto your vehicle with a forklift. Our team is experienced in this operation however some minor scuffs and scratches may be inevitable.
Alternatively you may choose to hand load the order from the pallet to your vehicle. Our stand mesh sheet boxes weigh approximately 25kg per box. You may need another person to help you do this, in the designated loading area.
*TIE DOWN
You are solely responsible to ensure your load is tied down securely and comply with the Vicroads load restraint rules.
DELIVERY
*GENERAL PARCEL DELIVERY
Small orders under 22kg will be delivered via standard parcel delivery. These include sample orders. You will be advised when the goods are dispatched. Normally in-stock items are dispatched within 2-5 business days. If you are under a tight timeframe please call to confirm prior to your order.
*FREIGHT DELIVERY
Most of our orders are too heavy for parcel delivery, and are therefore organised through national road freight companies such as TNT and Northline. They are delivered by trucks. As a result, depending on your street condition, it may or may not be able to access your property directly due to the size of the vehicle.
If there is no suitable access to the site, the order may be placed on the kerbside nature strip. The driver may refuse to offload the product in any area he deems unsafe, or may cause product damage.
In all cases the orders will only be delivered to the ground level kerbside or open site area, subject to safe access.
*IF YOU HAVE FORKLIFT UNLOADING
When we quote freight delivery we assume it is not a business and would need tail gate offloading. If you have unloading facility please let us know, as this would typically reduce your freight cost significantly.
*CANCELLED OR MISSED DELIVERY
Due to the nature of freight delivery there must be someone on site to receive the goods.
In the event the goods cannot be delivered because of restricted access, nobody is on site, or any other reason not caused by BRICLAD or the freight carrier and goods are returned to BRICLAD, a futile delivery fee/demurrage waiting fee may be charged by the carrier, and subsequently passed on to you. BRICLAD does not profit from these penalty charges and will only seek reimbursement.
