About this range
Our signature Traditional Limewashed brick facings offer a distinct off-white finish. Limewash is made from powdered limestone that has been treated with heat and water to change its chemical composition, resulting in a stable product that provides a durable coating when applied to porous brick. Whitewashed brick exteriors are so pretty and have a charming Old World feel.

Suitable usage
Walls, splashbacks (use sealant if appropriate), fireplace surround, exterior wall, hospitality, commercial.
Note
For wet applications, specific waterproofing precautions need to taken such as using a waterproof membrane under the tile and use of a penetrating sealer. Not recommended for areas in constant water contact such as shower walls or a pool.
Limewash calcifies to the brick, and the product will patina or age over time. Areas like chimneys and exposed walls will wear down more quickly, but areas under cover, such as soffits etc. remain as you painted them for many years. Limewash recoating may be required for high traffic areas to renew the look.
